Description

In this class we will explore and talk about the different roles it takes to put on a show and make it a success. These roles include the director, production team, cast, and tech crew. Students will experience these roles, including director, as they analyze and prepare a short play, which will then be performed at the showcase.  Activities will include reading, auditioning, casting and giving constructive feedback during the rehearsal process. Students will learn how the role of the director interacts / contrasts with the role of being a cast member. Students will continue to develop their acting skills and their love for the theater in this all encompassing production class.
